!!!!Zara was our first working cocker which we were fortunate to buy
from Ian & Wendy Openshaw. As fate would have it she was much better than your average gundog. I believe we were given a gift - an exceptional little cocker that changed our lives forever. During her prime she competed in five championships. She was subsequently awarded 3rd, 2nd, Dom and 4th place, having been in the run off for first place at 3 of the 5 championships. Although old and grey now, Zara remains a priceless treasure in our home and in our hearts. Someone once said that you only get a dog like her once in a lifetime - perhaps they were right. Sadly on the 21st of August 2015 we had to get FTCh Mallowdale Ria Put to Sleep Quite simply the best dog We will ever own!!!! |
